I got to thinking about VCF 2.0 and decided I might like to do a talk about the history of portable computing. But, knowing my track record in regards to such things, I figure I better start researching now in order to be ready for VCF 3.0 or 4.0! So, I'd like to hear from anyone who has a story to tell about the history of portable computers and such, or has any data on what the first portable, first laptop, first handheld, etc. was etc. Also, any interesting portables you have in your collection or know about, please tell me.
