Bill, You could port VTL (very tiny language) "BASIC" into 1K, the code and the address instruction listing is in The Altair Yahoogroup files section ((I think)), or I may have the machine instructions handy if you need them. You can burn VTL onto the remaining 3 PROM slots on the board and then use a serial connection to dump programs into the computer at the VTL Prompt. THere are also sample programs from the Yahoo group. Or you can make a 8K board for the 680 so you can load MS BASIC for the 680 Bill
