Nope, I have a copy of that handbook, and it is definitely the one for
the PDP-8/E (and 8/F and 8/M), not the 8/A (which followed).  And as
has already been pointed out, those machines are all TTL.  It was the
VT/780 and DECmates that used microprocessors.
