Josh;
I have a similar problem with a generic-bus (21 slots) that uses 40x2,
rather than the S100 50x2, configuration.
I'm curious about the dimensions of the Imlac cards; maybe mine are the
same?
My cage expects cards that are ~7.6" (7 5/8") wide and ~8.9" (8
15/16")
tall. The tab that holds the 40x2 "pins" is ~5 1/8" wide. The typical
card also has a matching tab along the top edge that is used for I/O to
external equipment. How do these dimensions compare to yours?
The Imlac cards are 6.5" tall by 5" wide.
(Does anyone else recognize this description? It's 70/80's-era.)
However based on
http://www.blinkenlights.com/classiccmp/imlac/imlac5.jpg I
don't understand why you think that a cut-down S100 board would work -- the
photo looks like real-pins, whereas the Digikey part and S100 are both
card-edge systems. Not pinned-connectors.
Give me a little credit, OK?
