there was some previous discussion about nec multisync monitors. believe it or
not, i actually found one tossed in the partking lot of an auto parts store.
<!> unfortunately, it wont power on. made in 1990 and has XGA plug. anybody
want it for free or need parts from it? it has a lot of controls behind a flip
down door. no burn-in on the tube amazingly.

Did you able to read my situation at that moment?! I had to switch
to different 15" monitor from my beloved 17" monitor which had a bit
of a sickness in horizontal section. Shifted right by 2 inches in 2
certain modes and sometimes wiggles like a wave in horizontal axis
easily correctable by monitor power cycling but the latter one is
not.
FUNNY!
Now on to that Nec 3D monitor, might be interested, where are you?
I'm in canada, ontario. The major killers that get monitor trashed:
Tube, fly or too much components replacement.

PS: that 17" is CrystalScan 1776LE aka Mag DX17F with that infamous
caps killer already fixed nearly a year ago. Now more work on it!
No wonder Mag is no good brand, at work we have DX95T brand with
blue fog serving as cash register, been to repair bench before.
