The Salvation Army used them, and may still use them now. AMOS was a very
irritating OS sometimes, especially with that [x,y] method of accessing
partitions and files. AMOS BASIC was also a pain in the butt. The ones I
used were 68K systems.
It was also used by Brunswick (the Bowling people) as the back-end core of
their "Brunswick 2000" automatic scoring system. They even used the
VCR-Data backup unit.
