The first computer I had close-up experience with was a Burroughs E6000. This was a low-end business system that my grandfather's business used for doing payroll. After the system was retired it was stuck in a garage. About 20 years ago I claimed the unit but given that I don't have the space all I took was the schematics and build list (the unit is still in the garage waiting for me to do whatever with it). -- Eric Dittman dittman(a)dittman.net
