Don't forget some of the classic pen-based flops like Momenta, EO, and GO
Corp's PenPoint. Even though the flop era happened only a few years ago,
it was an epic period. You can still find some good shrapnel, but it's
getting harder to find.
I just stumbled on an interesting find (if you're a bit of a voyeur): the
GO Corp Alumni web-based mailing list archive from 1993 (before they
completely flamed out):

Does anyone own, or has anyone at least seen, a Go Penpoint computer? I'd
love to have one.
If you haven't read the book _Startup_ by Jerry Kaplan then you might want
to. It is a great story about the Go! Corporation, innovators of
pen-based computing. It has many excellent insights into the hi-tech
business world and is overall a great read.

I think the only non-prototype computer that came out of GO was the EO
(two models: 440 and 880). I had the chance to buy a small truck load of
them once, but the owner wanted too much.
You can still find PenPoint running on other pen-based machines (like the
IBM 700T). I have my own theory of why PenPoint flopped: it didn't come
with solitaire.
