A friend of mine was recently in D.C. and took this
photo of the Microcomputer exhibit in the Smithsonian
Museum. I recognize the Altair and the Sol but what
is the Apple prototype sitting on the table? Here is the

The rare and sought after Apple 1. Almost bought one of these a few years
ago but got outbid by Woz himself. I understand it is now sitting in a
college in Cupertino.
Keep in mind that when you bought one of these it you didn't get the case,
keyboard, or power supply. I saw this in DC a few weeks ago and wondered
if the apple 1 cpu board was actually inside or not?

That's an Apple One in one of the fancy third-party wooden cases. Nice pic!
