Anyone in the Seattle area looking for a 9-track tape drive project? I have one HP 7980A HPIB and two M4 9914 SCSI/Pertec drives. These are front loading / auto loading units. Unfortunately they need some work to be fully functional. The problem with both M4 units may be limited to the tach rollers not accurately rolling along with the tape motion. I had one of the M4 units working briefly a couple of months ago. If anyone local wants these let me know with a private reply. These are too big and heavy to deal with shipping. -Glen
