PDP guys and girls,
There's a nice looking PDP 11/34 with tape drives, disk drive for any one
close to Menlo, CA on a certain auction site for $300, bet it won't last
long. I'd be telling about my new 11/34 if I in driving range.

I wish it was a close drive for me. I've been looking for one of those
rackmount TU58 drives. That one's missing the front bezel, but I've seen a
naked bezel listed before.

I ended up with the 11/34. I actually saw the listing on eBay about 10
minutes before it got posted here and pulled the trigger after I convinced
a friend of mine in the bay area to pick it up for me (that's what friends
are for, right?). Looks like I have a road trip from Seattle to SF in my
future :).
I'll let you know how I get on with it, once I manage to get it home. Too
bad the controllers for the peripherals are missing (aside from the TU-58)
but otherwise it's a nice machine for the price.
