that lists the nodes that existed in the past
so I can see if there were node around my location

For BBSes that were on Fidonet, you just need to find a copy of the
Fidonet nodelist for the time you're interested in -- it lists the name,
location, sysop and other details. For example, here are some of the
many NSW entries from nodelist.148 from 1999:
,407,Computropolis_SDS,Kirrawee_NSW,Jeffrey_Itzstein,61-2-9545-0186,9600,VFC,V42b,MNP,CM,XX
,418,Computropolis_2,Kirrawee_NSW,Jeffrey_Itzstein,61-2-9545-4050,9600,VFC,V42b,MNP,CM,XX

There are various semi-complete nodelist archives around, but you're
probably best off just searching for something like "fidonet nodelist
1995" (or whatever year).
