After deliberating it for several months, I have decided to
let go of most of my PDP-11 stuff.
It consists roughly of a 11/70, 2 RK07's, 3 RK05's, 2 RL02's,
TU-80 (upright one), RM03 drive and a PC04, + many parts etc.

as well as a few pics.
Offers are entertained, and questions will be answered.
Response to offers will be not immediate, I'll wait at least a week
before a decision is made on that.
The stuff is located in the Netherlands, about 20 Km west of Arnhem.

Hello Jim.
That is the DX-11. A communication contoller to interface a PDP with
IBM bus & tag.
Regarding the TU-80, a conversion kit was available to modify
a flat lying TU-80 to an upright one, basically a door, hinges and a few
other parts. I guess a TU-81 can be modifies too.

Well, I know another person on the list who has 2 or 3 units....
It's basically a large backplane with lots of small flip-chip cards,
I guess when the would have designed it a yesr or 2 later, it could
have been 1 or 2 hex boards.
I have the original FS diagrams for it too and it shows a nice drawing
of the 360 (or 370?) console too.

I might have a DX11 or 2 around here. I think I found the DH, DJ, DL, DN,
DP,DZ and probably a few others.
Also found DB11 unibus repeater and DR11-B.

From what I remember from the manual (have it
somewhere, can't find it
directly). it can not be a controller, only a device.
The manual shows the drawing of the IBM 370 console, not the FS diagrams
which I did check today.
The manual is not that thick, I'll have it scanned and pdf-ed and send it
to Al for archiving on bitsavers too.
Would any diagnostic need a bus & tag terminator? I happened to have
bought one of each a year ago on epay for just a few dollars.
Another thing, would these diags let the lamp panel show some status
of the diagnostic(s) when running?

Another thing, would these diags let the lamp panel show some status
of the diagnostic(s) when running?
I would ahve to check the prints to be sure, but from what I rememebrm
the lamps show the states of the bits in the registers accessible from
the Unibus (command, memory address, word counbt, etc) and some intenral
signals. So I guess the diagnostics will cause said lamps ot do
something, but only becuase the diagnostic is accessing the DX11 hardware.

I think you?re right. The same basic 3U lights panel, with different covers for different
lamp labels, shows up on the RF11, RS04, RP11, and probably several other devices.

Yes. The lights panel has 144 lamps on it. There are 4 ribbon cables
ending in single-height DEC connector boards, so all the contacts on said
boards are signals. The groudn return is via the power wiring (!). IIRC
it needs 8V, whihc a lot of older DEC PSUs provided.
There are 4 otherwise unused connecotrs in the RK11-C which I am pretty
sure are used for such a lights panel. Sometime I must try it.
Of coruse the printing on the plastic front panel is device-specific.

I worked with a guy who was in DX-11 support before he came to the RSTS group. He had
sitting in his office some DX-11 disagnostics ? big boxes of IBM 360 binary card decks.
