There's a good article in this month's Wired on what they call "retroactivism" - people using trailing edge computers in preference to the latest Wintel box - for all the reasons we're familiar with: stability, well-understood O/Ses, nostalgia, etc. The VCF gets some mention, and several classiccompers (notably Allison Parent) are quoted. A good, balanced article that doesn't have the faintly mocking tone of that other recent article (in the magazine with Rosie the Robot on the cover). Cheers, Mark.
