speedy my a12000 was (just a 7mhz 68000).
Actually a base A1200 would be a 680EC20 running at 14Mhz. The A500
was a 7Mhz 68000, and at least with the base Amiga OS 1.x, it's
surprisingly fast, even off of floppy.

A typo, was referring to the A2000 at 7mhz ( recently upgraded to a 68030/40
GVP board), it has OS 1.3 while the A1200 has 3.0.
One of these days I need to get ahold of some 2.0 roms for the 2000.
