It?s been a while since I did this but going from memory you?ll need an external ProFile
to boot from if your LOS install is on the internal widget. You can choose which drive to
boot from at powerup.

One alternative is to go for an IdeFile : my Lisa has a 260MB IDE harddisk, seven
partitions, and 6 different OS's installed.
All internally.

LOS2, LPW2, LOS3, LPW3, UniPlus, Xenix.? Not sure if
Monitor (a very simple Pascal based OS) will install on a hard drive.?
There's also some GEMDOS image too, but likely that's floppy only.

Sure, it's possible for LOS to coexist with LPW on the same hard drive,
and you can use that to build LOS apps in LPW, then restart and use them
in LOS.

There's an option to share space with MacWorks, I don't think you'll
want to do that as you probably won't have enough space for all 3.
If you have a dual parallel port card, you could get upto two more
ProFile drives, or you could get an X/Profile or IDEfile.
I'd backup your LOS documents to floppies before installing LPW just to
be sure you don't lose them.
Once you do this, when you boot, you'll get this "Lisa Environments"

The documentation was confusing as I expected it to be clearer that they could coexist.
So if I run the installer but don?t select erase drive I should be fine. FYI. I am using
an XProfile emulating the widget but don?t want to keep swapping CF cards or changing
switches to select different ?Stars?.
