The CS/20 and CS/30 are microNOVA based machines, I can't speak for the CS/30 but the CS/20 dates to 1978... I'm not at all surprised that he would have bought it through Intel, during the late 70's and early 80's Intel was making memory boards for DG machines and also for PDP-11's, both Qbus and Unibus.
