Well, the only power cord I got with my SGI "desk side" systems had been
modified by someone. They are supposed to use a 125V 20A twist-lock
connector on both ends of the 12/3 cable, but someone had replaced the 20A
twist-lock with a standard 15A plug (well, it was industrial type...).
Needless to say, a 20A system (max inrush) running from a 15A
outlet/circuit just does not seem all that safe. I put the proper plug on
the cord just this weekend, since I got one in with that weekends haul.
