Hi Folks,
Are there any hardware differences between a Xerox 6085 (Daybreak configured to run
Viewpoint) and a Xerox 1186 (Daybreak configured to run Lisp), or can they run each
other?s software?
In particular, is there anything preventing a 6085 from running the stuff on bitsavers in
/bits/Xerox/1186?

A 6085 can run Viewpoint, GlobalView and Lisp.
But beware, there are two CPU Versions: MBP 1 and MBP 2.
Bitsavers Lisp is running on one version, as I remember on MBP 1 only.

And Smalltalk-80 on the MPB 1, if we can figure out how to start it.
