There's absolutely no need to guess on this subject - Terry Kennedy has collected a great amount of wisdom and experience on this subject in THIRD-PARTY-DISKS.TXT, a compendium of DECUServe conferences, available by anonymous ftp from ftp.spc.edu. The answer for the drive select jumpers is easy: first drive at DS0, second at DS1. The jumpers selecting motor speed control are a bit more complicated; Terry's collection of data covers several popular Teac drives, and if the answer isn't there browsing through the Teac jumper setting recommendations will quickly give the answer for any specific drive they've sold.
