We use the standard edition with our java ticketing application,
though they have bindings for all sorts of languages. Really quite
nice for monitoring, alerting, and even to a degree profiling. Also
has widgets to integrate into JIRA etc.
Unless they have changed the offer, if you use cloudbees (source
control, CI, etc) you get the standard newrelic account for free
instead of the basic, which is quite handy.

It's wonderful stuff, I haven't played with it extensively, but it
offers quite a lot of internal visibility to your java/scala and other
apps. Sort of a cloud based D-Trace on steroids.
