Since I haven't fired it up yet and since the previous owner did a
number on the innards with crappy wire and crappier solder joints (got
it from a kid who lived 5 minutes from Hara Arena), that will be a long,
slow path. A real 1541 and an X1541 cable is something I could do in
the forseeable future.

I have copies of both the boot disk and second utility disk that I
could bang out . . . . and I was just about to tear down the 128 setup
and play Amiga 2000 for awhile.
Montiros redux: The 1902 and 1080 are the same basic guts/styling, but
the 1080 has analog RGB inputs as well as the digital CGA inputs. ISTR
the 1802 is composite video only like the 1702.
FYI, I have a pretty extensive book collection on the 64, VIC and 1541
drives. I can look up/copy key pages if you have further questions.

It should be -- I don't think there's anything special with the disk, but
I would use a nibbler instead of a fast disk copy just to be sure.
Only version 3.0 Plus will work on the 128. The previous version 2.2 was
meant for the (ratty) C64 Z80 cartridge.
