Hello Everyone, My space has undergone some sudden compression and I need to let go some of the things I don't use in my collection. One of the things on that list is a Kennedy 9400 vacuum column 9-track tape drive. It worked when it was decommissioned however in storage the glass cover plates in the vacuum columns have slid down a bit making them no longer air tight. A heat gun to loosen the adhesive and readjust these should make it right as rain again. It is in a rack (DEC corporate type, not an H960) and its in Sunnyvale CA. If you're interested in it let me know. It was, in its day, the Cadillac of tape drives. --Chuck McManis
