My saved searches coughed up a TU55 single-drive DECtape transport on the eBay this
morning. Then I looked at the listing and had a stunning case of sticker shock, as
it's listed for $6,900 buy it now. !
I know (?) that TU55/TU56 drives aren't too common these days, but is that price in
line with what they go for?
P.S.: No, I'm not even considering buying it. I'm just morbidly curious.

Have you seen the other things they listed about the same time? A rusty
PDP-8/L for $6k? Sad thing is that this company is about 20 miles or
less from me. They have some things I'd like, but obviously put a way
higher value on them than I do.
