I know that machine also had a DMR11 but I'm pretty sure that was a high speed parallel interface. My docs are not handy, so I'm not going to swear to it. In that machine's case, because I was using it to support the Phase IV and Phase V WAN Drivers code on OpenVMS VAX. In the general case, because they've paid for my house (either because I had to fix other people's or because other people paid me to generate them :-) ) Antonio
