Absolutely! The other side of that coin though is some people are not
interested in looking, and are therefore willing to pay someone else to do
that. Why else would something like ebay be such a success?

New subject: Mainframe DASD available in chicago area
Anyone want:
IBM 3880 qty. 1
IBM 3380 K qty. 2
(3880 is a mainframe disk controller, 3380K are mainframe disk drives)..
this equipment is approximetly circa mid 80's.
I am posting this for a friend, so I don't have specifics on condition.
They are VERY big and heavy.

Whereabouts are these things? I work in the far northwest suburbs. Is it
a get it right now or they'll be scrapped thing, or is there time? Are
they someplace where they can be looked at? I might be interested.
