Terry,
I'd be interested as well. I picked up a couple at an auction about 8 years
ago. They looked as if they were in a flood and are very scuffed and except
for a reset key which is stuck down there is nothing else broken.
Inside its very clean and on the mother board it says 256k! Would that be
true - one serial number is 02737 and the other 10749. Both run on 7v ac.
They have the calc and writer cartridges.
Worked out how to get into the battery compartment and put 5 D size
batteries in, I didnt like my chances of getting a 7v ac adapter. The red
light on the one with the stuck reset key flickered but the other one was
dead -a broken battery connection.
Wouldnt mind getting them going. Also, I would also be interested in the
basic cartridge.
Neat machine. If I get one going it'll replace my nec8201a - aka Tandy 100 -
as my number 1 machine!
