Our core in any of our classic 8 has never worked it didn't 30 years ago either.
...... ?just the thought of how many failed components.... yikes! ..... ?something to
procrastinate ?about.. ?but I hate to hack out ?buckets of components. ...............

Absent physical trauma, core seems pretty durable.? The electronics around
it may fail but the core planes themselves seem robust.? At least that's
