If you want to talk about Windows, find an

Windows '95 and newer, perhaps. I'm not sure if there's a more appropriate
place to discuss versions older than that, though? Although 3.x was popular
and derided in its day, surely it's no more off-topic than questions about
any other GUI of a similar timeframe, and if in-depth knowledge of a
20-something year old environment is going to be anywhere, it's perhaps
likely to be here?
I wouldn't want this to be a PC-centric list*, but I think at the same time
there's a tendency to forget just how old some of the PC-related software
and hardware is now getting (I agonized for a bit over posting XT-related
questions, but then I got to thinking that they're systems containing
masses of TTL ICs and running a clunky text-mode CLI - in other words,
really no different to any other platform of the time).

of hand Something Could Be Done :-)
(Does anyone read every message on the list? I'm > 25,000 messages behind,
there's no way I can keep up with the traffic. In other words, skipping
over threads is routine, so if 0.00x% of list activity is about Windows,
it's no big deal to me)
