I picked up some cards that say "Dual Port RAM" that have a number of these
ICs on them. They all have 1979 and 1980 date codes on them and the
letters SA or SB. Anyone know what they are? I can't find them in any of
my IC references.

Yes, they're made by Signetics. I have the data sheet here - they're hex
3-state buffers, and look similar to the 74LS367.
Pinout :
1 OE/ for A,B,C,D
2 In A
3 Out A
4 In B
5 Out B
6 In C
7 Out C
8 Ground
9 Out D
10 In D
11 Out E
12 In E
13 Out F
14 In F
15 OE/ for E,F
16 Vcc
Propagation delay (typical) 8ns

Tri-state buffers, interchangable in nearly all applications with the
74{LS}367 part.

The 8T97 was also recently discontinued by Jameco.
How does the propogation delay compare to the LS367? Tony said that the
8T97 has an 8us delay. ISTR that the reason to use the 8T97 was that it had
a shorter delay.
