It is not a single username and it's not just the PDP auction. It's
someone that keeps stealing ebay accounts and then spaming about 300
different auctions in various categories. Always the same set of
auctions. Guitars, PDP, golf clubs. The pdp is just one of many. Always
the same bad jpeg picture with instructions not to bid but, contact them
through an email address that is different every time. Always the same
items and always quickly removed by ebay. Still annoying though.
Most of the compromised accounts seem like people that may not be tech
savvy. More like grandma's home business selling surplus beads, ceramic
angles, and yarn. I'm guessing it's a phishing operation that once they
get a login spam their set of auctions. Over the last couple years I've
seen that same fake auction at least 50 times.
It's probably the Wall Street bankers...really scraping the bottom of
the barrel these days.. ;)
