Not a single bid at one penny on eBay, so does anyone want to save a
few of these from the bin? I have a box of about 25 TK-50s here,
mostly 3M brand ones. No idea of working condition.
Happy to send anywhere in the world for the cost of postage. I have
hundreds of jiffy bags (padded envelopes) so not even asking for a
donation for packaging - just post at cost.
Happy to send via surface post to keep costs down - it's generally
about 2/3 the price of airmail.
They're in London, UK and you can of course collect for free.
Last time I mentioned these I had several requests but nobody's reappeared...

I would be happy to take a handful rather than see them thrown away. Let me
know what you have left after anyone else has had what they want.

I've got a large box of them as well (Windermere UK) - just in case
anyone wants some of them. At the moment it is in the garage, but that
won't last forever unless someone expresses an interest. Matt has had
first look so there isn't anything on them that hasn't already been
archived.
And then there is the question of what to do with the Microvax II with
the broken power supply...

I should have guessed that this would happen. No bids, no watchers at
1p on eBay, so I offer them at free-for-the-postage and get a dozen
people wanting them, including being willing to pay postage to half
the world - France, Italy, South Africa and various bits of North
America!
So I am not sure how I can divide these up equitably. I'm not looking
to make a profit here, just not throw them, and ideally, not post
20-odd tapes out individually. I would welcome suggestions, folks! But
please, don't reply just to me - either to everyone, or better still,
on the 2 mailing lists I posted the offer on - Sun-Rescue and
ClassicCmp Talk.
What do people think? Try to just divide them up equally, or what?
