I found two manuals, but I'd need to track down

depends on what kind of Model 1 you're talking about, new or old (disk or
cassette).
I have both an original TRS-80 without the numpad and one with the numpad. Both are 16k
Level II. I'm favoring using the one with the numpad right now because it has a
lowercase mod and the Omikron CP/M board in it. Not that I've tried to load CP/M since
I haven't tracked down the disks yet.
The expansion interface I'm using has 32k so the TRS-80 has 48k. It's also got a
Percom disk doubler in it, but I don't think I was able to boot double density MFM
disks. I remember fiddling with making the boot track FM, but it seems like it still
didn't boot. I've only got one floppy drive & LDOS doesn't load completely
into RAM so I can't switch disks. I always have to put all the things I want to use
onto a single bootable disk.
The Tandy modem must have come with something to dial
the phone? I am sure
I could find at least one or two more.
My TRS-80 modem requires me to use my finger to dial the phone, then put the handset on
top of it. ;-)
