Actually, the first thing that gets tossed is the
development "process".
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, this is an issue that I have to deal with
*every* single day. Frankly, I don't expect it to get any better. :-(
If anyone cares to continue the discussion, I'll be glad to elaborate...
It's definitely true in my experience. I test Microsoft source code. I
don't know much about how it works, but every sign points to its being ugly,
inefficient, etc. Our own test system is quite hacked up too.
