Here's another long shot: Does anybody near southern California have one of the Radio
Shack computer desks that were configured to hold a Model II that they might consider
parting with, like the one in this catalog page?

Or any of the other computer desks sold by Radio Shack for the TRS-80 machines, for that
matter?

procure?

:-) On my list too but never found one close enough. Last time I checked I
think I was able to find two folks at some point with one but one was in NV
(not sure if was a huge craigslist search or ebay or what) and I think the
other (although in honest it may have been an Altair 8800bt or something
desk which of course was the other desired one I was searching for) in
Canada but that person still used it regularaly.
Best of luck though! Does Steve Seigel still maintain his collector list?
He may have some leads or perhaps trying to contact some members of
old-computers.com (
