Ok guys, so there was a problem in the terminal settings. (Hey, it's an IBM 3151(?) terminal, and mostly configures in Swahili) Open firmware does, indeed, work on this system. Don't ask why it didn't work earlier with the Wyse (which was set up properly, I'm sure, since it's in use on the machine which I used to finally get the IBM configured properly ;). Anyway, it will now boot into Open Firmware, even without keyboard, monitor, etc, attached. I'll attempt to install Darwin on the disk sometime soon. It may work, but at the moment, it has less RAM and less disk than they say is "required."
