Does anybody have a junked VAXstation 4000 that still
has its internal
disk mounting hardware and SCSI cable intact? Those are the parts I need.
You can probably fake this good enough to get it running.
Or perhaps even the little flap that goes over the diag
LEDs in front.
Good luck, those seem to be the first thing to go. Which brings up a
question, how save is it to try and remove one to put on another system?
My 4000/60 has one, but I'd prefer for it to be on my 4000/90. I'm afraid
if I try and transplant it, I'll break it.
