It does? I have an old PS/2 keyboard connected to my P200, and never noticed anything high-pitched. The space bar is a bit louder then the rest of the keys, and there's an occasional *sproing* from a stuck spring in a few of the keys. Other than that, it's a great keyboard. The PC keyboard is another good one. They both give the sure feel that a letter is going to come onto the screen (usually), unlike the new membrane (squishy-key) keyboards that almost have the feel of the Coco 2 keyboard.
