Man, I'd like to get my hands on a 2 KB ZX-81 kit!  ;>)  To my knowledge, no 
ZX-81, kit or otherwise, shipped with 2 KB RAM, even though the boards could 
support it.  The Timex TS1000 came standard with 2 KB.
