Can you tell if the cursor is moving? ?If you can and it's not, you
might have some bad video RAM.

Afraid I can't tell. The whole screen is kinda jumpy. Also, if I
listen, I can hear a sort of really fast ticking, almost continuous...
maybe more of a buzzing. If I hit the reset button on the back, the
terminal emits a loud high-pitched beep and returns to displaying the
same garbage.
