If you look around at retail stores, you may still find a CP/M CD-ROM in
stock. I just did at Tower Books in Bellevue, WA.

The CD-ROM carries Walnut Creek's copyright.
However, in view of
the fact that the vast majority of the files are public domain
selections from various contributors, I would have to conclude that
the copyright covered only the arrangement of the collection rather
than the content. This is much the same approach that SIMTEL took
with their stuff.
I would tend to agree with you here. Personally, I've always felt
that the good folks who spent many years assembling the CPMUG files
were slighted whenever their collections were referred to as being
part of the "Walnut Creek" collection when in fact the CPMUG people did
all the hard work.
Tim, I am unable to find the Ampro Little Board
BIOS source. There
are some utilities, patches, and such in source form and a text
reference to a file 38BIOS.LBR (in the JSAGE area), but I cannot
locate the file itself. Can you cite directory pointers, please.
I don't actually own the Walnut Creek CP/M CD-ROM - but a while back
Allison Parent sent me some segments of the Ampro BIOS sources which
I assumed came from the CD-ROM. Allison is the person who should
know where the actually came from, independent of what I assumed!
