I'm sure some would say that. The problem there is that, someday,
"authentic period components" are going to be nonexistent, unless
someone provides a way to manufacture more (replicators, maybe?). If
they want a working system, they must be prepared to sacrifice the
"componental periodic authenticity" (?) of the machine. Sorry, but
stuff breaks.
