Does anyone know of a source for new 8" floppies? I've borrowed
some software that I need to copy and give back, and in the interests of
longevity, I'd just assume not recycle a disk that is already 20 years
old.

You can try <http://www.athana.com>, but I think they have a fairly steep
minimum order requirement.

if the issue is archiving, I would not rely on any floppy disk.
Pull the stuff off the disk and save the binary image on hard
drive, tape, web server, whatever. That's going to be one of my
projects to keep a nice archive of VAX 11 and other console and
diagnostics floppies.
