ISTR reading that the network code runs in Supervisor mode, so you need that to, technically (although all -11s CPUs with Supervisor also have I+D, and vice versa). Does the 2.9 include networking code? If so, it must use overlays like crazy on a 'small' machine (/40-/34/-/23)... Noel
