I used both Solaris 2.4 and 2.5 as a PPP client back in the day. As I recall,
in addition to other files, I recall also having to configure some of the UUCP
files also. But enough reminiscing.
Overall, I would point you to Mr. Bill's
sunhelp.org web site, where, as of May
2005, he has been hosting the "UNIX Serial Port Resources" that had long been
created and consolidated by Stokely Consulting.
