Unfortunately No.
It is much more basic in design than that and is all metal in construction. Still am none
the wiser on the device. I will try and put up a picture this weekend to see if it jogs
anyones memory.

It looks like a 1/2" Cartridge Drive and it was used on the Data General Desktop
Generation E6270 drive. I can find no mention of it on the internet so far!
