Maybe they did, and maybe they didn't. IBM, however, made some of their
own. ThinkPad Power Series 820, 850, and 860. They are sweet laptops; lots
of groovy features, especially for their time (ca 1995). They are no
longer manufactured or supported. IBM barely remember they existed, and OS
support is spotty.
I have a prototype 850.
