yup.. ANSI 8" interface
I was VERY happy someone outbid me on it when I discovered what
it was..
If someone has a paper copy of the X3.101 spec, i'd like to add
it to the archives on spies.
It appears to be based on the Shugart/Quantum 8" drive standard
but on a single 50 pin connector instead of a 50 and 26.

New subject: Emulex SC02 Diagnostics
Hello all,
the SC0251002-W_SC02C_Oct85.pdf document from Al Kossow's site is
telling me on page B-1, that there was a tape with diagnostics available
for this this controller.
The part-No. was PX9960301.
Has someone a copy or better an image of this Emulex SC02 diagnostics?
I would like to talk to a CDC 9448 Phoenix Cartridge drive but didn't
manage to get it working.
