ard to get a terminal working, rather than repair the existing board :-).
And I am sure I commented o nthat at the time.
The moral equivalent here would be to have a "parts phone" that one strips =
for screws as necessary.
OK, where do I find a metal-cased 'Telic' brand office intercom/line
phone that I cna raid for parts? Such telephones seem rare at the best of
times, the only related thread I could find on the old telephone fora was
concerned one for sale at a ridiculous price (a lot more than I paid for
mine I can assure you, I found it some years ago in a 'junk shop' over
here).
In any case 'parts units' don't work for me. I generally have the urge to
fix them up too. And for something like this where the missing part
(screws) cna be made in the garage in a couple of afternoons it's a
no-brainer.
