<V7 and BSD ran fine on the PDP-11. All it will take to port ELKS will <be somebody with access to PDP-11 hardware, a working Linux system, an <too much time on their hands. To quote a movie from twenty years back I have the 11/23 or 11/73 to pick from (with 30meg of disk). I have a pdp11 C compiler (decus C) running under RT-11. I can copy elks sources to the 11 ELKS is only an embedded kernel. Oops. UZI unix is for z80 and could be ported too (it's in C save for LL-drivers). Allison
